Reflections - Love, Old People and Respect

I wonder.
I wonder how people can talk of love as though thye truly understand it.
I wonder if there are indeed people who can truly love in our world now.
As much.
As much as I am ashamed, I have to admit that right now I'm incapable of it.
As much as I want to, I don't think I can be such a great and kind person.

I don't want to be rude but should old people naturally get respect just because they are older? I really don't like how some older people demand respect and rights just because of their age, and be rude about it. If they had requested it nicely, or even just be silent about it, I would have most gladly gave it to them.

Did some thinking from last night till now. I am a person who will do things if you don't force me to.Things like apologising or being polite, I meant. But only if I feel the person deserves it. And if I don't, the more you force me, the more I'll not do it, just to rebel against you.
So, in future, leave me to be, once I've thought it through, I'll probably do what you want me to. I hate laying everything out on the table.

Okay work at tori-tama today was quite boring since there wasn't alot of business. But i realise they have quite a few regular customers, because within the two weeks that i have worked there, i've seen quite a few of them several times.

Okay before blogging about work, I went to watch angels&demons ytd with mel at plaza sing!

which was surprisingly near UE square hahah. THE DAMN CAB RIDE WAS A FREAKING $8.40!!! But anyways, the show was good, though i kinda guessed who was behind it hahahah the director made it so obvious... or maybe i've seein too many "twist-ed" stories.

anw, today at shirokane, there was only mel and i, and judy and jack. business was better today! XD i 'd rather it be busy because time seems to pass faster when i'm doing sth then just stoning there. XP

ohya! at the end of the day, we were made to eat all the kushi products and remember how they looks like and what they're called.. i hope i still remember tml =x i kinda always forget whats abaratsubo and ginkawa is. OHYA i cant believe i stared at the asparagus and couldnt recognise what it was. and another stupid happening. there was only one table at arond 645, and i stood infront of the chef with the bowl, waiting for him to tell me the table number. and they just stared back for like 3 secs before i realised it.. =.= aish

anw, thats all for today!

3rd day of work

Yay today was my 3rd day of work at Shirokane Tori-tama but business wasn't very good. For one, it's probably the damn H1N1 thing.. gawsh i hate that girl.. damn US... for two there's the barcelonia and MU match apparently. We even started closing early lah, or rather, closing preparations.

Anw, today's memo's worth of toriyakis! (kushis):
Set A: Tsukune, Veg, Hatsu, Obi, Kashiwa, Tebasaki, Chigimo
Set B add ons: Engawa, Aigama and.. sth ahahaz i fgt

anw..im stuck with pencil-girl and mel is stuck with statue... but i brought a pen today!! roars.. oh! because im staying at my sister's place, i ook 195 there instead.. and i reached super early! like 5:15!! omg la..then i got down to reading the menu again... ohoh and we started taking orders and keying it into the POS system.. it's... quite fun.. hahaz and my number is 49! i dun like it =((( but oh wells..

2nd day of work and moving

Okay, I've finally moved to my sister's house and trust me people, if you don't really need it, please don't shift or renovate ur house. It drains the life and energy out of you =.=;;

Anyway, today's the second day of work and my feet is aching like mad again.. but at least, there's no more packing tmr. YAY! hahahha and today's business seemed quite bad.. i could feEL it..which probably meant something..

oh but anyway, i got to talk to the staff more today and we guessed their ages! takeo-san is evil, he made us guess infront of them! we got murakami-san's age totally wrong.. oops we felt so bad (by we, i mean mel and i) murakami-san is the youngest but we thought he's the oldest!! >_< and takeo-san tricked me by saying takahashi-san is murakami-san's father! and i went "O_O really???" and he was like "no.. im just kidding" uso-tsuki!!

okay, yesterday i learnt that the fattest thing on the stick is called sasami no mitsubamaki right? today i learnt that the smallest, blackish thing on the stick is called kokoro no nokkori.

Today's set A consisted of:

Tsukune, Obi, Veg, Bonjiri, Tebasaki, Kawa and Azuki

Set B additions: Hatsu, Saezuri and.. Chigimo

aish ok.. i shall stop here.. really tired..

Shirokane Tori-Tama first day!

WoOz!

I started my first day of work at Shirokane Tori-Tama today!

It was fun! yet at the same time stressful and tiring.
I sort of knew standing can be super tiring, but it didn't hit me until today. And it was only 5 hours!
Well, maybe it was because of the fact that I'm currently shifing house and packing as well.

But anyway, the place's food is good! Initially, when Mel and I were walking there from Central,
we were commenting how the place was quite small and the menu shouldn't have that much items,
but hohoho we were seriously wrong. Their menu is LONG! Some of the dishes have really long names too.
This is where the stressful part comes it, we have to know most of the names because when we serve the customers,
we need to repeat the name of the dish "___ DESU~"
We had to shout "Irrasshaimase" when they came in too! and all the very jappie phrases haha

And did i mention we have uniforms? haha it's kinda huge, but I guess its comfortable to work in.
Mel was like commenting how it looked like the yukatas from before when we went to Japan. XDD

Okay, here's a list of things I'm trying to remember from today..

AGM: Takeo san
OM: Lois san
Bar incharge: Maria san
Chief Chef (?): Murakami san
Asst Chef: Takahashi san
Kitchen asst: Thomas, Simon, Alvin
Fellow service crew: Ivy, Judy and Jack (and of course mel)

Some of the dishes i can remember:
-Sasami no Mitsubamaki (the fattest stick of thingie that has a leaf wrapped within)
-Tsukune (meat ball)
-Kawa (skin)
-Shiitake
-Emon (breast meat)
-Sunagaki (or sth lidat =x)

at least my names were quite short, Mel's sake and alcohol drinks had really long names hahaha
Anyway, takahashi stripped in front of me!
ok well not totally stripped, but he took off his uniform while i was in the staff area..=x
hahaz ohNO! i will be struck!

anw i'll be working everyday for this week from 6-11pm! (that's their opening hours)

ok my LJ has been dead for a VERY long time.. but its tiring to maintain two blogs.. anyways, i shall transfer my fangirling over D's new album here..

D's new album is called "Genetic World" and omg it rocks!! there are 11 tracks and i like all of them, love 10 of them.. [that's something very rare for me, the only other album that has achieved this was tackey and tsubasa's Hatachi]

1. Nocturnal [a not too noisy, not quiet kindof song but all 3 guitars/bass can be clearly differentiated! or maybe im getting better at listening to jrock LOL]

[i dun care, he's still mine] It started when we were talking about Jrock bands and she introduced me to Back-On and ONE OK ROCK [which mich talked to me abt today haha! qiaoness] then i intro-ed heidi. and D to her.. I'm glad she liked both of them too!! ahhaz.. i showed her Ouka Saki Someni Keri MV and she fell in love with Ruiza LOL [like what mel said.. thats the best MV u can use to intro someone to D] Ruiza was like totally hot in that MV la! omg *goes to rewatch it*

anw this is ruiza's new look! omg so pretty! and his online diary is so cute la! and i learn my jap while reading his blog.. but this BOY! aiyo! always use all the weird kanjis.. roars.. make me blur only..
